G Loomis GLX Fishing Rod Blank Made in USA
These are the original G Loomis GLX Fishing Rod Blanks Made in USA. These are the Captain Gary series rod blanks sanded and unmarked high end Graphite quality.
G Loomis no longer made them anymore. These rod blanks are over 15 years old but unused. These are with length 65 – ½ inches in length with ½ (half) inch Butt and tip size 6.
These rod blanks are Light Action Medium Taper 15-25 lbs . There is no marking on these rod blanks. These rod blanks are really nice have real good flex and fairly strong.
If you are a rod builder you know what you are looking at! You may never find another one after all these have been sold off. This is like the last chance to put your hands on an original G Loomis rod blank. It is time to make that custom G Loomis rod you always wanted.

New Vintage G LOOMIS Custom 5 ft 6 in 1-piece Spinning USA
This is a new, custom made, 1-piece, 5 ft 6 in G Loomis spinning rod Made in USA.
The rod is built on a G Loomis 5' 6" medium action blank with a fast tip. It is suitable for 6-10 lb line and lures from 3/16-9/16 oz. The blank is a mahogany/root beer color and is made of 33-40 million modulus graphite which corresponds to IM6.
The guides are Fuji Alconite. These are Fuji's newest and lightest rings and are only available in their Concept series. There are 6 guides starting with a #25 and finishing with a #6 and a #6 tip top. The guides are wrapped with Chestnut thread and there is a single metallic gold trim thread at the beginning of each wrap. At the handle the chestnut and gold thread have been spiraled together. There have been two coats of finish applied.
The handle is custom turned cork with a Fuji graphite IPSM reel seat. The advantage of this reel seat is that the cork handle is contoured into the seat. When you combine this with a Fuji HPS quick lock fore grip you don't have the hoods or threads exposed where you are trying to grip the rod. You can see from the picture that you hold the reel foot and the rest of your hand is on the cork grips. This is the most comfortable and sensitive setup I have come across.

Vintage SABRE Custom Made Ocean Spinning Made In USA
This is a very rare to find Vintage 1962 "SABRE" Saltwater spinning rod. It is custom made by California Tackle Co, Bell, California (USA). Fast Taper #502 7 feet 2-piece spinning rod. The line weight of this rod is test line 20-50 lbs.
Dupont Nylon-Epoxy ‘NYPOXY’ glass with 9 eyelets and agate nickel tip. Oversized chromed steel adjustable reel seal with lock. This is a 2-piece spinning rod with screw. Lock for strength and safety. This rod is set up for the heaviest of spinning reels.
This is a custom made rod. All eyelets were hand wound. This rod is no longer made and hard to find especially heavy duty spinning rods. The eyelets appear to be stainless steel and show no rust. There is no rust on the reel seat and rod union. All windings are tight and sealed. The cork base and rubber upper grip are free of nicks or cracks. The overall condition of this rod is very good to excellent condition.
